Dengue cases in Thailand are rising since January. Thailand recorded 18,173 dengue cases. Consequently 15 people died. Most of the cases were in Bangkok. Children who are between the age of 5 to 14, have suffered the most from this. Public Health Ministry has said that dengue and other diseases caused by mosquitoes are always likely to happen more in June and July because it is the rainy season. People have been advised to stay protected from mosquitoes by using mosquito repellent and sleeping under nets. If anyone finds any symptoms like high fever, pain in eyes, they should be immediately visiting a doctor to prevent any serious problems.
