Taiwan civil defence handbook includes tips on identifying Chinese soldiers

Taiwan’s military has released a handbook which interestingly involves a space for the topic ” distinction between Chinese and Taiwanese soldiers based on their uniforms, camouflage and insignia ” Taiwan released this book to help people find bomb shelters, water and get food supplies available to them via smartphone apps during the crisis of Russia Ukraine war. Defence Ministry of Taiwan has got feedback about the book that it required better pictures to reveal war scenes. Some modifications in the handbook included pictures of Taiwanese service personnel and “enemy soldiers” donning Chinese military uniforms. The agency is focusing on creating English translation. Creating the handbook follows Russia’s furious attack on its neighbour, which has flickered debate on its effect for Taiwan and ways to enhance preparation, such as modifications to the reservist training and extending military service. China recognizes Taiwan as a renegade province to be reunified, by force if important. Beijing has built up military and political pressure since the previous three years to hit those power allegations.
