Palak Muchhal is a playback singer who is famous for singing in Bollywood movies. She is also renowned for raising funds for poor children who are in need of financial help for the treatment of heart diseases. She started to contribute towards the cause early in her childhood by putting up stage shows. ‘Palak Muchhal Heart Foundation’ is the name of her charity organization. She has been saving lives for more than 21 years now. She has helped more than 2000 poor children with their heart diseases and surgeries.
She has been honoured for her contribution by the Government of India and other public institutions. For her incredible achievements in social work, she has also secured her name in Limca Book of world records and Guinness Book of World Records. Indian soldiers lost their lives in the 1999 Kargil War. To help them, she for a week sang at different shops in Indore and raised funds. She was only 7 years old at that time.
For the victims of the 2001 Gujarat earthquake, she raised one million rupees. During the Coronavirus pandemic, the singer is actively helping others and is providing them with required resources such as ventilators, medicines and ICU beds. Her foundation is supporting people in the need of the hour. She is also building a hospital where treatment would be done free of cost for the poor. It is her dream project. It is already under construction. Her charity shows have helped 2200 children suffering from heart diseases.
