No injuries after planes collide on ground at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport

At Tokyo’s Haneda Airport, flights had to get delayed because two planes banged into each other on ground near a taxiway. Fortunately, no injuries happened. But the incident resulted in shutting down of one of four runways at the airport from around 11am local time (10am Singapore time). The broadcaster displayed picture of jets from Taiwan’s Eva Airways and Thai Airways on the ground. A segment of the wing of the Thai Airways plane seemed to be fragmented. Thai Airways reported that Japan’s civil aviation authority was following up the incident.
