Kremlin Criticizes Zelenskiy’s Remarks About Trump as ‘Inadmissible’

MOSCOW – The Kremlin on Thursday condemned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy for his recent comments about U.S. President Donald Trump, calling them “inadmissible” after Zelenskiy accused Trump of living in a “disinformation bubble” and dismissed claims about his own low popularity rating.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov criticized Zelenskiy’s rhetoric, stating, “The fact that Zelenskiy’s rating is falling is an absolutely obvious trend,” while avoiding specific numbers. Despite Peskov’s remarks, opinion polls in Ukraine show Zelenskiy’s approval above 50%.

Peskov also highlighted growing tensions between Washington and Kyiv, accusing Ukraine of mismanaging foreign financial aid and resisting accountability for past expenditures.
