KUALA LUMPUR – Kaushal Kumar, a distinguished figure from Uttarakhand, India, has been honoured with the prestigious Dedicated Exemplary Leadership Excellence Award in Malaysia.
This accolade was presented to Kumar by the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dr. Mahathir Mohammad, during the BRICS-ASEAN Chamber of Commerce conference. The award recognizes Kumar’s unparalleled contributions to international education and educational tourism, making him the first person from Uttarakhand to receive this honour.
Kumar’s work has not only been limited to promoting education but also extends to honouring individuals dedicated to their fields with sincerity and dedication. Under the banner of the Ray Foundation, he has been instrumental in recognising the efforts of many through the Uttarakhand Gaurav Samman and other commendations.
Kaushal Kumar’s initiatives in education are further exemplified by his role as Chairman of Ray Foundation and General Secretary of Prones Asia Group Malaysia. His wife, Mrs. Priyanka Kulshreshtha, also contributes significantly to the educational sector as the Managing Director of JIE International School Chain.
In addition to receiving the award, Kumar had the esteemed opportunity to meet with Aminuddin Harun, the Honorable Chief Minister of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. This meeting highlighted the growing ties between educational leaders in India and Malaysia, fostering further opportunities for collaboration.
Upon receiving the award, Kumar expressed his gratitude to his family, his business mentor Kawaljeet Singh Talwar, and his friends for their support.
