Indonesia to launch ‘golden visa’ programme to attract global talent

The government of Indonesia is deciding to wholeheartedly welcome global talent through a soon-to-be-launched “golden visa” programme. It’s goal is to to make Indonesia a better place to work in with a longer-stay permit. Accompanying a Cabinet meeting which was set with President Joko Widodo. Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno reported to reporters that the golden visa is expected to be “game-changer” in Indonesia’s attempt to call more foreign workers and investments, which will be beneficial for more job opportunities.
