Elon Musk Pledges $1 Million Daily Giveaway to Petition Signers in Support of U.S. Constitution

HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania — Billionaire Elon Musk announced a bold new initiative on Saturday, promising to give away $1 million each day to individuals who sign his online petition supporting the U.S. Constitution, particularly the First and Second Amendments. The Tesla and SpaceX founder revealed the giveaway during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania aimed at boosting support for former President Donald Trump in the upcoming election.

Musk wasted no time in fulfilling his promise, awarding the first $1 million check to John Dreher, an attendee at the Harrisburg event. “By the way, John had no idea. So anyway, you’re welcome,” Musk said as he handed Dreher the check, taking the crowd by surprise.

This initiative marks the latest move by Musk to use his significant wealth to influence the highly competitive presidential race between Republican Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. Musk has become increasingly vocal in his support for Trump, aligning himself with Republican causes in recent years.

Musk’s political action committee, America PAC, which he founded to support Trump’s campaign, is actively working to mobilize and register voters in key battleground states. However, reports suggest that the organization is facing challenges in reaching its goals.

At the event, Musk painted November’s election as a defining moment, calling on supporters to vote early and encourage others to do the same. He described the election as critical, warning that if Harris wins, “it will be the last election,” implying that the United States as it currently exists would cease to function.

Musk also addressed two assassination attempts against Trump, claiming they proved Trump is disrupting the status quo in ways that Harris cannot. “Assassinating a puppet is worthless,” Musk said, referencing his belief that Harris is not truly in control of her candidacy or policies.

The petition Musk is circulating is straightforward, stating: “The First and Second Amendments guarantee freedom of speech and the right to bear arms. By signing below, I am pledging my support for the First and Second Amendments.” Attendees at the rally were required to sign the petition in order to be eligible for the $1 million giveaway.

Musk, who is ranked as the world’s richest person by Forbes, has already poured at least $75 million into America PAC, according to federal records. This significant financial backing makes the group a key player in Trump’s efforts to regain the White House.

In return, Trump has promised that if elected, he would appoint Musk to head a government efficiency commission, underscoring the close relationship between the entrepreneur and the former president.
