Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan conveyed he intended to strengthen political and diplomatic attempts to sign a serenity treaty with Azerbaijan, Russia’s TASS news agency reported on Thursday. In the later days of the month October, Pashinyan revealed he had strong intentions to conclude a peace treaty with Azerbaijan “in the approaching months”. His remarks came amid attempts to cement serenity in the South Caucasus after Azerbaijan retook the contested area of Nagorno-Karabakh.
