KATHMANDU – Sushil Gyawali has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Investment Board, Nepal. His appointment was confirmed during a Cabinet meeting held on Thursday, and he will lead the board for the next four years.
Gyawali was chosen from a shortlist of candidates that included Bhishmaraj Dhungana, Raghuraj Kafle, Bishnu Prasad Bhattarai, and Ramdev Yadav. Three names were recommended to the Council of Ministers, and Gyawali was selected for the position.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli serves as the Chairman of the Investment Board, Nepal, and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel is the Vice Chairman. In addition to Gyawali’s appointment, the government has also decided to transfer 51 joint secretaries within the administration sector.
