One of his most innovative contributions was integrating QR codes into textbooks. By scanning the codes, students could access audio lessons, videos and additional learning resources in their own language. This simple yet effective idea made learning interactive and accessible, especially in rural settings where educational support was limited.

His efforts dramatically improved attendance and academic performance, particularly among girls. More importantly, he helped shift community attitudes toward education. Families that once prioritized early marriage for daughters began seeing the value of keeping them in school.

Disale’s work gained international recognition when he won the Global Teacher Prize, often referred to as the “Nobel Prize for teaching.” In a remarkable gesture, he shared half of the prize money with fellow finalists, reflecting his belief that education is built through collective effort rather than individual achievement.
