Japan, China to hold regular talks on trade issues: Media reports

Japanese and Chinese trade ministers have said yes to bring a framework to converse regarding export control matters on a working level, Japanese media reported, recognising Japan’s trade minister Yasutoshi Nishimura.

“We will hold firm conversations with Chinese officials to create constructive and stable Japan-China rapports,” Nishimura said to reporters on Wednesday after conversations with his counterpart Wang Wentao on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting in San Francisco.

Senior officials of both the Japanese and Chinese trade ministries will hold daily conversations to converse trade matters between the two nations, the reports revealed. China has polished export controls of gallium and is anticipated to hinder exports of graphite in December.
