Colonel (Dr) Ashok Singh Rathore Receives Global Visionary Award in Vietnam

VIETNAM – Colonel (Dr) Ashok Singh Rathore has been recognized with the prestigious Global Visionary Award in Vietnam for his outstanding contributions to social harmony, leadership, and excellence in various fields.

Previously, he was honored with the Global Leadership Award by the BRICS Asean Chamber of Commerce, Malaysia, further cementing his reputation as a distinguished leader. Additionally, his name has been registered in the ASEAN World Record for performing 30 minutes of Yogasana on horseback, a remarkable feat.

A former Army officer, Colonel Rathore served for over 27 years in the Remount and Veterinary Corps (RVC). Beyond his military career, he has made a mark in education, research, and equestrian sports. His achievements in equestrian competitions include gold medals in national games and the title of Best Senior Rider at prestigious events such as the Bangalore and Wellington Horse Shows. He has also secured numerous medals in both national and state-level equestrian championships.

Hailing from Madhya Pradesh, India, Colonel Rathore is a veterinary doctor by profession. His wife, Dr. Taruna Bhati, is a professor at the Veterinary University in Bikaner, while his son, Ravish Rathore, was recently selected for the Indian Navy. Colonel Rathore has also previously served as the Commanding Officer of the NCC in Bikaner, further showcasing his dedication to leadership and service.
