Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang tells Blinken US should respect China’s core concerns

Foreign Minister of China, Qin Gang said to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in a conversation on phone that the United States should give a break to its interference in the country’s affairs. The proficient discussion comes ahead of an organized visit to Beijing by Washington’s top diplomat, directed at recovering tough rapport between the nations because of many issues from spy claims to a semiconductor tussle. In the call, Mr Qin said he was expecting the US can encounter China halfway, efficiently manage discrepancies and strengthen communication and cooperation. Mr Qin also said the US should understand and consider China’s deepest problems like Taiwan issue. He also want to balance Sino-US rapport and bring cooperation, love and understanding for the betterment of everyone. In February, Mr Blinken could not keep up to his planned trip to Beijing, which would have been the first by a US secretary of state in five years, over a suspicious Chinese spy balloon that was made to fly over the US.
