Bollywood Star Saif Ali Khan Stabbed by Intruder at Mumbai Home

MUMBAI, India – Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, 54, is undergoing treatment for multiple stab injuries after a confrontation with an intruder at his Bandra home in Mumbai early Thursday (Jan 16). Khan sustained six injuries, with two reported to be severe, including one near his spine.

The incident occurred at around 3:30 am. Khan was rushed to a nearby hospital where Niraj Uttamani, the hospital’s chief operating officer, stated that the full extent of the injuries would be determined after surgery. Police have launched a manhunt for the assailant, who fled the scene following the attack. Investigators are examining CCTV footage and questioning witnesses to ascertain the motive behind the intrusion.

Khan, one of Bollywood’s most prominent actors, resides in Bandra with his wife, actress Kareena Kapoor, and their two children, Jeh and Taimur. Known for his roles in over 70 films and television series, Khan is also the son of cricket legend Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore. Authorities are yet to provide further details on the assailant or any potential threats faced by the actor and his family.
