Trump to Hold Middle East, G-7 Talks; May Meet Zelensky

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump will meet with several Middle Eastern leaders and take part in a working session with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during next week’s Group of Seven summit in France, senior U.S. administration officials said on June 13.

Trump is scheduled for separate engagements with the leaders of Egypt, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, France and India. While no formal bilateral meeting with Zelensky is planned, officials said the two could meet on the summit’s sidelines.

Administration aides said Trump will press summit partners on shared priorities including economic growth, supply-chain resilience, illegal migration and artificial intelligence. He will also focus on strengthening supply chains for critical minerals used in advanced technologies. Trump is expected to attend a state dinner at the Palace of Versailles on June 17 before flying back to Washington.
