Wan Rosdy Named Special Adviser to National Entrepreneur Council

PETALING JAYA– Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has announced the appointment of Pahang menteri besar, Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, as a special adviser to the National Entrepreneur and SME Development Council (NESDC).

According to Bernama, Anwar praised Wan Rosdy for his dedicated leadership in Pahang, highlighting his consistent commitment to the welfare of the people. In this new role, Wan Rosdy will collaborate closely with Anwar and Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to engage with entrepreneurs nationwide and explore strategies to strengthen Bumiputera enterprises.

Anwar noted that Wan Rosdy’s focus has always been on the needs of the people, stating, “He has never sought personal gain or projects for himself. In our earlier meeting, everything he raised concerned the interests of the public,” referencing discussions on Pahang’s development.

Currently in his second term as the menteri besar of Pahang, Wan Rosdy is also the long-serving Jelai assemblyman, having held the seat for five terms.
