US, Chinese commerce chiefs raise complaints on trade, investment and export policies

Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo In Us and Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao traded barbs on  investment, trade and export policies. Their meeting and conversation on this topic in Washington was the first US-China Cabinet-level exchange in months. Both the countries had crystal clear discussions on issues relating to the US-China commercial relationship. The concerns included the overall environment in both countries for trade and investment and wherever cooperation seemed required.

Mr Wang interrogated on the important concerns about US policies towards China. It consists of reviews of foreign investments. The two sides have agreed to maintain harmoniously open communication channels to revise on the problems n solutions needed. Mr Wang will also be meeting with US Trade Representative Katherine Tai .US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping are more consistently  communicating at a Group of 20 summit in Indonesia to prevent any tension due to US-China conflicts. China seems to be upset  about the exceeding number of US export preventions on advanced semiconductors. Ms Raimondo, Mr Blinken and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen seem to be interested in visiting China soon.
