UN chief urges leaders at COP28 to agree on deep cuts to emissions

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres compelled governers at the COP28 climate conference to say yes on intense cuts to emissions and halt global warming expanding 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit). Guterres, speaking at the Doha Forum conference, revealed that instead of promises, emissions are at a record high and fossil fuels are the prominent reason. He also revealed that he will not put a halt on his attempts for his requests for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.
