WASHINGTON – U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday issued a stern ultimatum to Hamas, stating the militant group has “three or four days” to respond to his proposed Gaza peace plan or face serious consequences. Speaking to reporters before leaving the White House, Trump emphasized that Israeli and Arab leaders had already agreed to the proposal, saying, “we’re just waiting for Hamas.”“Hamas is either going to be doing it or not, and if it’s not, it’s going to be a very sad end,” Trump warned. When asked if there was room for further negotiation on the plan, the president replied, “Not much.”
