In North Korea’s airport , the imagery of satellite shows an unusual aircraft maintenance. North Korea had to cancel all the flights and stop the borders because of the pandemic. Isome cross-border trade with China by train has been started again and recently allowed Beijing’s new ambassador to Pyongyang into the country. In this traumatic period of Corona Virus Pandemic, 38North declared no cross-border air travel service will take place.
It is weird to see that such a large number have been serviced in such a short period of time. Satellite images show weird level of aircraft maintenance in North Korea. Several aircraft operated by Air Koryo have been through maintenance at Sunan International Airport since the month of May. It has been said by a North Korean monitoring website. It has also come to notice that one Chinese tourist agency has also been preparing to re-launch tours to North Korea in June. False rumours of reopening have circulated near border for months
