Prof. Triveni Singh (IPS) Appointed to Editors Club of India Advisory Wing

NEW DELHI, INDIA – Prof. Triveni Singh, IPS, renowned for his effective actions against cybercrimes and technical expertise in India, has been appointed as a member of the Editors Club of India’s Advisory Wing. The announcement was made by National President Amitabh Agnihotri during a dignified ceremony at the India International Centre in New Delhi.

Currently serving as SP, Cyber Crime in Uttar Pradesh Police, Prof. Singh is counted among India’s leading cyber police officers. In his distinguished career, he has investigated over 200 types of cybercrimes, leading to the arrest of thousands of criminals and the successful resolution of cases involving thousands of crores in cyber fraud.

He oversees the investigation processes, as well as the administrative and technical supervision, of 18 cyber crime police stations under all police commissionerates in Uttar Pradesh. Due to his expertise in the intricate technical processes of cybercrime investigations, he also serves as a resource person for prestigious institutions across the country.

Prof. Singh has delivered training and lectures on cybercrime, financial fraud, and digital security at institutions such as the CBI Academy in Ghaziabad, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, along with various judicial training centers, police academies, and universities.

Sharing his experiences in cybercrimes, he co-authored two popular books with cyber security expert Amit Dubey: “Hidden Files: Tales of Cyber Crime Investigation” and “Hidden Files – Unlock,” which detail real cybercrime cases and the experiences of apprehending perpetrators.

For his outstanding contributions, Prof. Triveni Singh has received numerous national honors, including the President’s Gallantry Medal, a commendation certificate from the CBI Director, and the 2012 ‘India Cyber Cop of the Year’ award from DSCI-NASSCOM. His work in cyber security and digital crime control has been appreciated on both national and international platforms.
