A giant red banner could be seen welcoming 900 students in Wuhan; this is the gigantic graduation ceremony seen in the city of Wuhan after it battled the first corona virus outbreak. Onlookers could see students wearing navy gowns sitting in crowded rows without wearing masks and not following any norms of covid protocols.
Wuhan, the capital of the central china Hubei province, was the city wherein the covid 19 pandemics started, which also led to sending the entire city into the most strict lockdown anyone could ever see.
Though the lockdown began to ease by April, school and colleges remained shut. Moreover, the graduation ceremonies too were limited last year, with them being organized online. This gathering of more than 2,200 students were the ones who couldn’t attend their graduation ceremony last year.
China was under containment because of the outbreak, and they have tight border control, mandatory quarantine, restriction over domestic travel etc.
