The federal court in Malaysia has rejected a leave request by seven persons who are smokers wanting to speak against the Health Ministry’s rule of smoking ban at eateries. A three-judge panel, chaired by federal court judge Justice Zabariah Mohd Yusof, made the important decision for denying the request on Tuesday. According to the arrangement, person who applies must first ask a question of principle decided for the first time or a question of significance due to which the decision made by federal court could result in the welfare of public.The group said that the smoking ban was against the Federal Constitution as smoking was not any kind of crime and it was legal to smoke in the nation.
