Just after swearing-in as the new CM of Uttarakhand, Tirath Singh Rawat says the focus will now be on Tourism

Tirath Singh Rawat was sworn in as the new leader of Uttarakhand after Trivendra Singh Rawat resigned. And right after swearing-in, as the chief minister of Uttarakhand stated, his main focus is the tourism sector.
One destination that has been the hot favorite of almost all the tourists is Uttrakhand, as the state is famous for its pretty and magnificent destinations. And his enthusiasm towards developing the state of Uttarakhand as a tourism destination is a great step forward.
Moreover, as the Delhi-Saharanpur-Dehradun economic Corridor is developing, the tourism of Uttarakhand is going to improve drastically; the corridor is currently under construction, and once made, the tourism sector of the state is going to get a massive boost.
This corridor will reduce the travel time by more than half, the capital of Uttarakhand Dehradun and the nation’s capital have a distance of 6.5 hours which will now be cut down to 2.5 hours, and the distance will be shortened by 25 kms. Dehradun works as the gateway to various tourist destinations in Uttarakhand like Mussoorie etc.
Uttarakhand is also making progress towards adventure tourism; in September 2020, they organized three national-level adventure sports, and these sports festivals were organized in Almore, Nainital, and Pauri.
This year, a Skiing championship in Auli was made, but with the lack of snow, it has to be canceled.
If the state ministry focuses on tourism in Uttarakhand, the state’s tourism sector is going to explode.
