Jog falls going under the knife to attract tourists

It seems like going under the knife has become such a huge fantasy that now even waterfalls are planning to get a makeover! You read it right! Jog falls, one of the most majestic falls in Karnataka, are getting a makeover so that it can become a tourist attraction. As per the officials, they are planning to organise many things like a 400m roper way to Hebbail’s Padmavathi temple, boating facilities etc.
It is also believed that they will open an amphitheatre and a science park, and the KPCL (Karnataka power corporation limited) has already started the commission work so that the waterfalls can turn into a world-class tourist area ASAP.
The makeover also includes upgradation as well as the addition of a viewing deck. As far as the amp theatre is concerned, it will be made to display cultural events. As far as science park is concerned, it is being made for kids to stay engaged throughout. Lastly, the enhancement will include a cafeteria and toilets.
The deadline set by KPCL is 2023, and the officials also have stated that they are planning to rebuild the swimming pool, which wrecked six years ago. This ideal is believed to be the brainchild of Shivamogga MP BY Raghavendra. And the officials have stated that it will have a boating facility that will connect to the temple situated in hebbail village.
If the tourists wish to visit the temple, they will have to take permission from KPCL and have to enter the temple through kargal, which is at a distance of 15 km. the boating will cut down the time as well as the distance.
KPCL  has stated that this is going to be a unique experience.
