Jamaica Tourist Board Launches a Campaign: ‘Rediscover Jamaica’


The tourism industry is all set to rebound from the COVID-19 setback. Jamaica Tourist Board launched a campaign: ‘Rediscover Jamaica’ which has proved to be successful. It has been reported that hotels are being booked upto 60% occupancy. After months of lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, Tourism Minister, Edmund Bartlett warmly welcomed the reopening of the 49-suite Zoetry hotel in Montego Bay. He is confident that the campaign ‘Rediscover Jamaica’ will reduce the impact caused by the coronavirus pandemic on the tourism industry. Tourism officials of Jamaica are delighted to express that Jamaica has the highest booking rate in the region. Tourism development programs are being planned for Kingston and Port Royal. Investors are also investing in the Jamacian market which is giving a boost to the Tourism sector. Overall,  ‘Rediscover Jamaica’ has been a great success
