India receives a briefing from Greece regarding the situation of the eastern Mediterranean.


The foreign ministers of Greece and India had a virtual meeting wherein they discussed the reviewing of the bilateral ties and the long-standing friendly and historical relations between both countries. They also briefed Indian ministers regarding the situated in the eastern Mediterranean.
Turkey and Greece are under a dispute over the maritime boundaries and energy explorations eights. The situation is problematic because the Ankara plants in the regions are conducting the seismic survey. The Greek foreign minister tweeted, saying that they have a video conference with FM Dr. S Jaishankar, and they have worked on further reigniting the Indian relations and the developments taking place in South Asia and the eastern Mediterranean.
On the other hand, the ties between Turkey and India are shakey as the Turkish presidents showed support to the Pakistani prime minister and brought up Kashmir’s issue at the meeting of the united nations.
