DPS Rudrapur celebrated Diwali so that they could bring some amount of light and shine in theirs and everyone’s light. On the twelfth of November, the school celebrated Diwali on their premises. This beautiful program by the students shined a light on a wonderful topic.
The chief guest of the program was the chairman Shri Surjit Grover, who lit the lamp and commenced the program in which the principal and the parents of the students were present. Once the lamp was lit, the students of DPS performed Ganesh Vandana.
Following this stunning dance performance was a speech delivered by Ishani of Class tenth, who enlightened the crowd with knowledge of how and why Diwali is an important day; this talented girl managed to grasp everyone’s attention present there.
Following the speech, the team of DIPSITE performed a skit on the harm caused by the crackers and why buying from small-scaled or roadside shop operators should be your norm this Diwali; after all, it’s a day for the light to shine, and we consumers are the hopes of the small-scale shop owners.
