Barisan Nasional stated that they would support the 2021 budget present by PN

Barisan Nasional Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman stated that all the BN party (43 of them) would support the 2021 budget; this means that the budget will have the support of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, the under-fire prime minister.
Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman said that BN has decided to support the 2021 budget, and they want to tell PN that they shouldn’t worry as they will support the budget. On the other hand, he also stated that they would not approve the CSA agreement ( confidence and supply agreement), allegedly offered to them as this agreement can kill their party.
A confidence and supply agreement is an agreement in which the political party agrees that they will not vote against the minority government in the case of a vote of confidence or the budgetary issues. However, this agreement works as a reserve to oppose the other legislation.
Moreover, it is stated that the minority governments in countries like Canada, Denmark, and the united kingdom have passed their 2021 budget with the opposition’s support. On Saturday, Muhyiddin has requested all the political parties to vote for the budget and keep their differences aside.
Last week, the king also released a statement in which he advised all the politicians to support the 2021 budget as the funds are crucial for fighting the pandemic.
