All across the country, around 25 sick schools need immediate attention says Radzi Jidin he further stated that this issue requires special attention, as these projects have been abandoned and have faced a lot of losses.
On his visit to the Sekolah Sukan project site which has been abandoned, he stated that they would start looking into the 25 sick projects one by one and work on prioritising the task that needs to be completed on a priority basis1; and will also work on arranging the expedition of the construction.
He further stated that the education ministry will now focus on selecting the contractors so that the projects can be completed at an expedited rate.
Regarding the abandonment of Sekolah Sukan Malaysian Perlis since 2013, he states that new contractor is expected to work on it from January 2021 and the project will get completed in the year 2023. But right now, his main focus is towards the first phase completion of the 25.5-hectare land projects that has an allocation of RM41 million, which will have the operating capacity of about 6 to 700 students
