An education TV channel launched by Pm Muhyiddin known as Didik TV KPM

Tan Sri Muhyiddin, the prime minister of Malaysia, has launched a unique terrestrial education channel known as DidikTV Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia. This channel has been set up as an extraordinary effort by the ministry to have access to quality education.
While delivering his speech, the PM said the DidikTV KPM is going to broadcast programmes based on the curriculum, news, and co-curricular activities. The news will broadcast the world of education. It will range from 6 education-related entertainment programmes as well to student-generated content. In addition to all this, the students will have lifelong learning content that focuses on good values and teaches them student characters, and this course will also be broadcasted.
PM Muhyiddin stated that DidikTV KPM would also help implement PdPR a home-based teaching and learning programme, especially for the students who don’t have the means or can’t access online education. Parents can also watch DidikTV KPM as a family with their children.
Muhyiddin also stated that the ministry had done this so that the terrestrial education tv can be reived after implementing the MCO last year. This was done to enable the students, especially those without internet access or appropriate devices, to get learning material for studying.
The government is aware that education during the coronavirus pandemic has suffered a lot, and this is a difficult situation as they had to close the schools.
