Munchy’s Marks 35 Years with RM500,000 Product Gift for National Celebrations

PUTRAJAYA — Munchy’s Malaysia commemorated its 35th anniversary by donating RM500,000 worth of in-kind products to support the National Day and Malaysia Day 2026 festivities. The package, presented to Communications Minister Yang Berhormat Dato’ Seri Fahmi Fadzil at a handover ceremony at Menara Komunikasi, Precinct 4, Putrajaya, is the company’s largest contribution to the national celebrations and its third consecutive year of support.

Rodney Wong, CEO of Munchy’s Malaysia, said the increased donation underscores the brand’s role in Malaysian daily life and its commitment to giving back. “For 35 years, Munchy’s has grown alongside Malaysia and become part of the everyday lives of Malaysians across generations and backgrounds,” he said, adding that the company hopes its products will enhance festivities and create memorable moments for participants nationwide.

The donated items will be distributed through selected programmes and activities linked to National Day and Malaysia Day events, reaching communities and members of the public across the country. Munchy’s began supporting the national celebrations in 2024 and has expanded its involvement each year, reinforcing its pledge to unite communities and celebrate Malaysia’s identity, progress and diversity.
