Modi also expressed deep appreciation for Bahrain’s ongoing support to the large Indian expatriate community there, which numbers over 300,000 and plays a vital role in the Gulf nation’s economy.
In a post on X, Modi recapped the call: “Had a fruitful discussion with the King of Bahrain, His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa. Conveyed warm greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. Thanked His Majesty for his continued support for the well-being of the Indian community in Bahrain.”
