DUBAI – United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan declared his nation resilient in wartime, warning enemies that the UAE stands strong and united following Iranian missile attacks amid escalating U.S.-Israeli strikes on the region.
In his first public remarks since the assault, the Abu Dhabi ruler visited strike victims on March 6, stating on Abu Dhabi TV the next day: “The UAE has thick skin and bitter flesh – we are no easy prey.”
Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed the country’s commitment to safeguarding its people and residents, treating them as family. “We will carry out our duty towards our country, our people, and our residents who are also part of our family,” he said.
The UAE, made up of seven emirates including Dubai, emphasized its resolve to protect all within its borders during this conflict.
