Nepalese Kids Ignite Global Math Revolution: Triumph at Abacus and Vedic Maths 2026 in Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – Imagine children from humble classrooms outsmarting the world’s toughest math puzzles in seconds, their fingers flying like lightning across imaginary abacuses. That’s the unstoppable power of young Nepalese prodigies who made history at the Global Abacus and Vedic Maths 2026, showing kids everywhere that with focus and fire, they can conquer any challenge and light up the global stage.

The championship concluded triumphantly on February 26, drawing brilliant minds from Nepal, India, Malaysia, and beyond. Jointly hosted by the South Asian Development Bank Limited (UK), Ray Foundation (India), Pacific Alliance Group (Malaysia), Bal Vikas NCMAS Private Limited (Nepal), Raise Abacus (India), and Gurushree Abacus and Vedic Maths (India), it buzzed with energy, backed by media support from Voice of Asia International News.

Dr. Zarif Menon, President of the South Asian Development Bank, chaired the event, with chief guest Datuk Dr. M. Simi, former President of the Malaysia Business Chamber Vietnam. Dignitaries included Kaushal Kumar of Voice Asia News, Azza Rahman of AMS, Leslie Charles Albuquerque of PAIC, Tej Bahadur Nepal of Child Development NCMAS Nepal, and Dr. R.V. – Borga Rai (Sanskar School) topped X-1.

– Krishav Giri (Bal Batika Pathshala) aced X-2.

– Abin Alemagar (Nobel School) won X-3A.

– Yesiman Lama (Pathibhara Academy) claimed X-3B.

– Avan Maharjan (Kathmandu Pragya Kunj School) triumphed in Y-1.

– Sanip Adhikari (Sabhya Pathshala) grabbed Y-2.

India shone brightly too: Swaranjil Santosh Jadhav (Gurushree Education Academy) took Y-3 first, while Bivika Hirani (Gurushree Abacus & Vedic Maths) ruled the Vedic Maths Championship.
